These pictures were taken around 1953 during a local Jean Shepherd broadcast. Many people were not aware that Jean did an area talk show on KYW Radio. It was the last show Jean did at the “Town Room” of the Sheraton Hotel at 39th and Walnut Street in West Philadelphia. If one looks very carefully at "the Jean Shepherd Show" sign, you will see a real Lily flower just on top of the word show.
