You're not allowed to laugh at life, it's a very serious proposition. . .
Show Description
Shep talks about molding lead soldiers as a kid. After hundreds of soldiers, they become bored and look to alternatives. Flick read an article in Boys Life on how to mold anything using a potato. They star molding lead quarters and soon become the neighborhood counterfeiting gang.
[ Courtesy: David Goldin - 04-08-2024 ] The recording begins with the conclusion of Lester Smith reading the news. Letters from listeners, sent in on colored paper, written in colored ink. A gift from an uncle, a mold with which to make lead soldiers. Shep's brilliant idea...making lead quarters with a potato mold!
