Show Description | ||||||||||||
A listener writes and asks if Shep has ever had a frozen Milky Way. He says he has and offers the recipe (along with one for Bourbon Taffy Apples) to anyone who writes to the station requesting it. He describes the most unusual play he's ever heard of, which was simply a six cylinder truck engine running on stage. Several years prior, a man struck up a conversation with him at the Horn & Hardart. He subsequently learned the man was modern composer George Antheil, who presented him with an album of his works. | ||||||||||||
