Shep wrote the introduction called "Mail Order America" to this catalogue which was a 768 page, hard cover version of the 1929 Johnson Smith Company Catalogue. It later appeared as a chapter called "The Whole Fun Catalog of 1929" in his book "A Fistful of Fig Newtons"
There was also a softcover version of this Catalog.
After 105 years in business, Johnson Smith & Co sold out to Collections ETC in 2020.
