Jean was making a series of short "bumpers", 2-3 minute programs, dealing with old film legends, to be used by PBS to fill uneven time periods at the end of their Masterpiece Theatre series. He was charming during this shoot (we shot all the shows in one day). He was fascinated that one of the production assistants was Raquel Welch's son. He loved rearranging my collectibles around the room to fill in the 'set'. The photo of Leigh applying his makeup was taken that day. [Dan was Production Coordinator at WGBH]
