Shepherd focuses his comments on the history of glassmaking in New Jersey, in a visit to the Museum of Glass, and in the glass factory at Wheaton Village where 19th-century techniques in glassmaking and paperweight crafting are demonstrated every day. In the museum, the largest in the country devoted to American glass, he looks at some of the mementos telling the story of glass through the ages.
