Jean Shepherd was listed as one of the 'celebrety entertainment' along with astronaut Capt James Lovell, and The Four Tops.
This may have been one of several times he spoke at this annual event. Shep fan Greg Matoska recalls seeing him as late as 1996 or 1997 where he told stories of school experiences. His health was failing and he relied on a cane.
