Excelsior You Fathead
"Excelsior You Fathead!" was the 'battle cry' Shep expected from his fans to which the the counter-sign was 'Seltzer Bottle.' Apparantly Shep gave out 'Excelsior You Fathead!" pins during of the 1950's rallys that fans held.
According to David Balkansky: "I attended several events in Washington Sq. with my kazoo, many others and of course Jean. At one of these gatherings he passed out a small, "Excelsior you fat head!" button."
