Shep wass a quarter-miler in track. He learned to Shot-Put along with Farkas and Jack Martin.Alex Josway comes along one day and wants to learn how to put a shot and throws it 43 feet! Next thing you know he is a State chapion shot putter.
On the football team, one day one of the kids, Ted Bean, comes by, picks up the ball and punts it 75 yards
