Bill Earls of Cranford will be among 108 New Jersey authors who will receive a citation at the 22nd annual authors luncheon Saturday at New Jersey Institute of Technology as part of a daylong writers conference. Earl's novel "The Gladiator" was published by Dell this past year. Others to be honored include Joyce Carol Oates, Fletcher Knebel, Jean Shepherd and Richard Nixon.
