World Affairs Topic Before Pupil Council
YONKERS
"Changing Trends in World Affairs" will be the topic of Press conference at Lincoln High School, Kneeland Ave., from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Monday for the Westchester High School Council for the United Nations.
David Halberstam, reporter of the New York Times and cowinner this year of the Pulitzer Prize for his international war reporting from South Viet Nam with Malcolm W. Browne of The Associated Press, will be one of the speakers at the press conference.
The other speaker will be Jean Shepherd, WOR radio commentator who broadcasts Monday through Friday from 11:15 p.m. to midnight and is heard Saturdays from 12:15 to 2 p.m. A question and answer period will follow the talks.
Michael Weissmen, president of the WHSCUN, will be chairman of the program. He is a senior at Yonkers High School.
