Milton Caniff

Cartoonist - Steve Canyon

Milton Caniff was famous for two cartoon strips - "Terry and the Pirates" and "Steve Canyon" He wrote a letter to Shep when Shep was working at WLW doing his "Mission Midnight" radio show, and told him he was a long time listener and it pleased him "to find someone at last who has made an intelligent approach to the ears of the large group of people who are late awake for whatever reason."
