Shep's boss in early broadcast days

According to his WOR programs of 2/26/64 and 4/18/69, "Mr. Richardson" was Shep's boss during his earliest days in broadcasting.

Olney Energy ("O. E.") Richardson was born on July 7, 1895, in Hartford, Kentucky, and passed away on June 6, 1983, in Ohio County, Kentucky. He had graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1921, and initially worked in the broadcasting field at Western Electric In New York. He became a part owner of the Hammond-Calumet Broadcasting Company in 1937. And by 1940 was also general manager of WJOB (formerly WWAE), where Shep worked in 1945. At that time, Richardson and his wife Rica lived at 4 Ruth Street in Calumet City, Illinois. They later retired to Fort Myers Beach in Florida, not far from where Shep and wife Leigh would retire and pass away years later.
