Shep talks about a party he went to on the East side, meets a girl. Thet see each other a few times and once he ordered a bottle of wine and she drank most of it. He escorts her 'home' which turns out to be a building being torn down. She was living there with her little daughter after her husband had left her. Shep left and never saw her again.
Another story, Shep is looking for an apartment, and is shown an apartment at an elegant apartment building, which was previously occupied by a celebrity and needed some 'work'. When they open the door, they are met with a stench of a garbage dump. When they turned on the lights the entire apartment was filled with moldy festering garbage. An it appears that the celebrity who lived there slept on a mattree in the bathtub!
